Creative Ways To Organize With Mason Jars

This post is in collaboration with Harriet Carr of Kensington Main Cleaners who provided some of the inspiration and ideas for how to keep your home organized with a simple mason jar organizer. Lost a lot of Q-tips, bandages, etc… If on they had been stored in glass jars. They sell mason jar lids with decorative cabinet handles inserted in the top. Rookie Tip #1: Use a drill bit to get a pilot hole started in Home decor the wood, where you'll eventually screw in the hose clamp.

That is why these DIY painted mason jar organizers were born and now I am going to show you how easy it is to make your own. Then we fastened the hose clamps to the wood using a screwdriver (use a cute helper if you have one on hand). Before you say bye to summer and the Mason jar craze that hopefully never ends, say bye to mosquito bites first.

I love how you can totally turn them into something completely different than a mere canning jar, and to show you just how much I love them, I have found 30 different ways that you can use those mason jars to help get your home - and your life - a bit more organized.

The plumbing clamps already have slots in them so it was easy to widen one of the slots to insert the screw. Use an electric drill to make a hole on the back center of the clamp. After you're finished with the sandpaper, measure the mouth of the mason jars and mark out the spacing between them on your board.

You can see the tutorial on how to create a Mason Jar Organizer by reading this post or you can check out our Mason Jar Organizer Video Tutorial here. You bring 5 mason jars and 2-3 chopped ingredients from this signup list. Mini Mason jars, lined up in a drawer, are an ingenious way of keeping spices visible and ready for that new recipe you want to try out.

Attach the hose clamps to the board with wood screws. Paint the lids with the color that you'll put inside and then label so that you can easily find the color you need when you start a new project. Next you will want to create a pilot hole in your clamp where it will connect to the wood.
